Arabic and Me

Sydney University’s Institute for Community Languages Education ran a series of Arabic-speaking competitions for school students throughout NSW. Our brief was to create a site that appealed to that particular cultural and demographic group in such a way that would inspire students to register for the competitions and create their own ‘hands-on’ entry.

The site had to incorporate dual language representation in places with both left-to-right and right-to-left languages sitting side-by-side. The site also had to accept registrations for the competition and provide summaries for entries for the Institute team on demand.
